By rotating the louvres on a bioclimatic pergola, you are able to adjust the level of solar glare that passes through the structure. This gives you ultimate control over the light and heat that enters your space, creating a pleasant setting throughout the day.

Louvres can be controlled via a remote to open or close, rotating up to 120 degrees. This provides the ability to influence the surrounding air quality by increasing or decreasing solar effects to suit the daily environment.

How do bioclimatic pergolas work?

With a bioclimatic roofed pergola, the roof uses slats (or louvres) that can be rotated to adjust their angle. This allows more or less sunlight to pass through which will increase or decrease the amount of heat and glare within the space it is protecting. This gives the user an element of control over the local environment.

Can you create a bioclimatic glass room?

Yes, you can. Our pergolas can include glass walls on some or all sides with the ability to create a completely enclosed glass space. The materials we use are very durable and expertly finished so when used in conjunction with adequate insulation and heating, you can create a glass room suitable for use all year round.
