A departure from the traditional Italian restaurant experience, San Carlo Manchester delivers unparalleled quality in food and drink in an upscale contemporary setting. A favourite celebrity haunt, this iconic venue is renowned across the city for its elegant decor, delicious food, superb service and unique atmosphere. Working in conjunction with the CER Group, JR were commissioned to specify and project manage the awning requirements on the scheme.

Upon brief and site survey, the requirement presented was to primarily create an aesthetically and impactful statement to the building, combined with a bright, crisp and clean brand recognition, as well as solar shading requirements.

As with a majority of JR’s hospitality client’s, working out of trading hours is a must – especially within one of Manchester’s premium restaurant’s! Scheduling was arranged for out-of-hours installation, combined with the working areas to be cordoned off to accommodate our stringent health and safety requirements. The full project was installed, tested and demonstrated to the client over limited site time access, over a three-day period.
