Working in conjuction with a Trade Sub-Dealer client, JR were asked to assist in the survey, project management and installation of a retractable roof project, whilst also training the client to be confident and competent with retractable roof solutions. Working under the Sub-Dealer's brand, JR succesfully specified and completed the project in a tight deadline and turnaround, resulting in Bunny Jackson having no operational downtime and creating an additional 60m2 all year round space for the client...

After taking the initial brief, JR were instructed to specify a freestanding, all-weather retractable roof solution, with dimmable lighting and heating options. The client did not want to totally seal and winterise the space, so no retractable glass or blind solutions were required. However, branded planter systems were required to enclose the space, with outdoor funiture also specified.

Installation took place at the venue over a shutdown period of two days. The freestanding option was specified due to the landlord instruction not to fix into the building facade. Four concreate pads were produced to fix the legs to and the system was sealed to the building to prevent water ingress. The schedule went as planned and the venue was able to use it's new area, as planned.

Having created an additional 60m2 dynamic and retractable, all-weather space, within the requested time period, the venue was able to host larger parties and to welcome more people, resulting in higher revenue and profits. The return on investment was within a three week period.
