The Drop-Arm awning is attached to side arms that are fixed at the pivot point so the projection and the drop are the same. Operation can be manual or electrical. Drop-Arm awnings are a neat and versatile sun blind. The advantage of these blinds is that they can be stopped in any position you require, but if low sun is a problem, they can be extended to 140° so you should be able to cover most of the window if necessary.

The cassette fixes flush to the wall for maximum weather protection and when the blind is not in use, it rolls neatly away into its cassette housing protecting the fabric from the elements. The valence can be simply removed from the front profile for the winter months, if required.

The blind arms are fitted with a sturdy internal spring to ensure the cover stays taut at all positions. The awning is finished in white as standard or they can be finished in any RAL colour if required. Drop-Arm cassettes are available in widths of up to 5000mm with a floating centre arm and projections up to 1500mm. The standard control of the sunblind is via a robust gear drive box.

We offer a full range of acrylic fabrics from plain colours to multi-stripe materials. All the fabrics are specially treated with a protective coating to help shield them from pollution making these durable and giving many years of problem free use.
