Our Clients & Suppliers
We are always striving for excellence and have developed a strong reputation with both our suppliers and clients by delivering upon expectations and on schedule. We believe in longevity. James Robertshaw has developed strong partnerships with our suppliers / clients, lasting many years.
As a family run business, ethics are very important to us. By continuing our commitment to responsible business practices, we always try to find new ways to improve our obligation to reducing the environmental impact of our operations.
At James Robertshaw we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. Our first choice is always to use local and British suppliers, and when this is not possible, ensure our suppliers abroad have stringent environmental policies. Our suppliers conform to international or local legislation regarding health and safety in the workplace and comply with local standards to ensure they are operating sound environment management systems. All our products are tested to the relevant CE, TUV and CEN standards for Britain and Europe.
We select our raw materials very carefully. Other non-renewable materials are used in the most efficient way possible in order to ensure long term availability.
Packaging materials are carefully selected in order to protect our products effectively and to also minimise the effect on the environment.
We recycle all recyclable waste and other waste is disposed of appropriately when this is not an option.
For over 150 years we have been a local employer proud to support our community. We continue to operate an equal opportunities recruitment policy.
